Business clusters are one of the successful models of organizing small and medium industries, which solve the shortcomings of small and medium industries and strengthen the various advantages of small industries, such as flexibility and diversity. Industrial cluster refers to business units concentrated in a geographical area that produce common services or products by cooperating and complementing each other's activities and have common opportunities and challenges. Generally, clusters include a large number of micro, small, medium, and large enterprises that may be gathered together in a city, region, or several villages. Lorestan Province Industrial Estates Company started the cluster development project in 2001.

 Lorestan plastic cluster is the sixth business cluster of the province after stone, carpet, carpet, aquaculture and honey clusters.
