Considering the fact that Lorestan province has been the source of many handicrafts including woolen-cloth rug and machete, there are more than 122 active units with a job creation of more than 708 people in the field of texture and production of woolen-cloth rug and machete in Lorestan province has become the groundwork for creating a special attention to this industry of art in the form of a cluster development project. Therefore, according to feasibility studies, artefacts made in Lorestan such as woolen-cloth rug and machete was considered as an important and strategic cluster for development.
